2027 Simsbury Teacher of the Year

Simsbury High School Art teacher Kristie Arbesman is the 2027 Kathleen Magowan Simsbury Teacher of the Year. Kristie has been with the district since 2011, teaching at Squadron Line, HJMS and SHS. She has been a substitute teacher at every other school in the district as well. Kristie always highlights 3 important components of her work in art instruction: collaboration, creativity and inclusion. She incorporates each daily into her practice, and credits her department colleagues for doing the same.
