Senior Citizen Programs

We believe in the importance of community partnerships in the education of all students." —Simsbury Public Schools Core Belief

The Simsbury Public Schools values actively involving Simsbury's senior citizens in our educational community.

Simsbury Public Schools VIP Passes program allows Simsbury residents age 65 and older to attend a wide variety of school events (such as sporting events, art exhibits, concerts, and theater productions) free of charge. Passes can be obtained at either the Board of Education Offices in Town Hall, or at the Senior Center at Eno Memorial Hall. You can also download a VIP Pass application here and return to either location.

Chairs for All Ages Project

The Chairs For All Ages program is a multi-week program connecting older adults with high school students to build, design, and paint Adirondack-style chairs. Pairs of chairs are then placed throughout the community to encourage people of all ages to get outside, explore the community, and engage with one another in a relaxing environment.
