Dear Central School Families,
Today, the school nurse was notified of a member of the Central School community who tested positive for COVID-19. The individual was last in school on November 12, 2021. In following our protocol, we immediately contacted the Farmington Valley Health District to collaboratively assess the case. At this point, we have completed our contact tracing and all impacted individuals who have been deemed a close contact have been sent home and will quarantine for the required time period.
As a reminder, it is imperative that parents, guardians, and staff complete daily health assessments before coming to school. Should anyone feel ill, please stay home. Further, should anyone in our school community test positive for COVID-19 or come in close contact with someone who has, it is critical for everyone's health and safety to inform the school nurse immediately.
If you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to reach out to me or our school nurse, Lora Rancourt.
Regards, Beth Hennessy
