 What is FIRST Robotics?

FIRST Robotics Competition is an exciting multinational competition started by Dean Kamen (Segway) and Woodie Flowers in 1992 to promote student interest in the dynamic and creative areas of math, science and engineering.  Student teams are mentored by practicing engineers, teachers and other established FIRST teams.  The practice of "gracious professionalism" is at the core of the organization with teams forming alliances in the competitions.  FIRST Scholarship information / Scholarship Information by College
