Technology Advisory Council
The state no longer requires a technology plan from districts due to changes in the e-Rate regulations. We will continue to create a three-year technology plan for the district. At the meeting of January 28, 2015, the council members did a needs assessment around curriculum, assessment, infrastructure and professional development. Based on these recommendations, input from our Innovation Technology Team teachers, and the administration a technology plan was developed.
Two of the components of the technology plan that have major budgetary impact are:
- moving to 1:1 in grades 3-12, with take home at the secondary level
- infrastructure improvements and sustainability (including classroom technology)
Preliminary Action Plans are here for member review. Comments can be made on the discussion board below or emailed to email@example.com.
